We have decided to sell our home here in Westfield, Indiana home so we can buy a property and build our dream portrait studio. The decision is exciting, but bittersweet, as we live in a wonderful neighborhood full of kids, families and fun. Here are some details about our home:
-Our lot is a wooded half-acre, situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in the Merrimac subdivision, 146th and Springmill Road
-Four Bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms
-Office
-Brazilian cherry hardwood floors throughout first floor.
-Stainless steel dishwasher, refrigerator, double oven and microwave in the kitchen, purchased less than 6 months ago.
-Stone patio installed in June
-Finished basement includes a large family television area, a wet bar complete with cherry cabinets, copper countertops and slate tile floor, and an office
that would be perfect for a craft room, and a large storage area.

My good buddy Luke brought his baby brother Blake (aka “Bwake”) to the studio for his newborn portraits. Both boys behaved beautifully during their portrait session.
Marissa and David brought sweet newborn baby Lydia to the studio for her very first photography session. She was pleasant and sweet throughout the whole thing. Thanks Marissa and David for letting me meet your precious baby girl!

High school senior Jenny came in for her senior pictures recently. Here’s one of her fabulous portraits – and Jenny’s music video. Enjoy!
“There are times in the lives of most of us when we would have given all the world to be as we were but yesterday, though that yesterday had passed over us unappreciated and unenjoyed.”
William Hartpole Lecky
One conversation that I have over and over with my clients as they gaze teary-eyed at the portraits of their children growing up is how quickly it all passes. And I am grateful for that constant reminder to enjoy it now, savor every moment of my girls’ childhoods, because in a blink of an eye, I realize they will be on their own and my house will be quiet once again. I was especially moved by the above quote, which I came across recently. A simple reminder to appreciate the ordinary.
Alissa and Corey came in recently for maternity portraits, then back again just a few weeks later with sweet newborn baby Ezra, who was about as pleasant as a baby can be during his entire photography session. Thanks Alissa and Corey for letting me meet your new little guy!
Carmel Orthodontics Patient Natalie came to the studio for photographs to celebrate getting her braces off. Doesn’t her smile look fantastic!
