I wanted to mention a new service we’re offering, and share a few thoughts about it with you.  A few months ago, on my Facebook Fan Club Page, I mentioned that I might be interested in photographing Boudoir portraits, which are photographs of women in sexy clothing and lingerie.  At the time of the posting, I wasn’t sure this was something I wanted to do.  And I was doubtful that anyone would respond to my request for models.  Man, was I wrong!  I was shocked by the number of people who said “I would love to be a boudoir model for you,” and the people who said “I don’t want to be a model for you, but as soon as you get this up and running, please let me know.  I’d love to be a paying boudoir client.”

I will admit, I struggled with this a bit on several levels.  What would my friends and clients think?  What would my Mom think?  My kids?   Is this okay, or am I crossing some ethical line?  So it took awhile, but I finally came to the realization that if I can do something to help a couple re-ignite passion after years of marriage, or help a bride-to-be create a beautiful wedding gift for her husband, then I can live with that. I mean, let’s face it, as busy wives and mothers, we’re so busy taking care of everyone else.  I think it’s important to take some time for ourselves, glam it up, and do something to remind ourselves (and our husbands) how beautiful we really are.
