It’s been so fun photographing Lauren, Emma & Andrew as they grow up. They’re always so giggly and fun!

Some of this season’s best fall color was in my backyard this year, so Tommy and Kara brought their parents over for an outdoor portrait session.

There was not a ton of fall color for outdoor portrait sessions this season, but Mother Nature did manage to give us a little bit of fall color, despite the dry summer. I managed to capture a little bit of it during my portrait session with Mark and Karen’s family. It was the perfect fall evening, with blue skies and the setting sun. Was super excited to talk to Jen this year about her annual family photograph. Adam & Jen come in every fall to update their family portrait, and this year we decided to do their photography session at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. A beautiful family, beautiful scenery, beautiful photographs. The boys looked dapper in their suits and ties, and were quite cooperative during their portrait session. Loved some of the last pictures we took, with mom and dad spending a little quality time reconnecting, and the boys silently praying to be done already. We’ve met and photographed soooo many new families recently, and had some wonderful opportunities to re-connect with families we’ve photographed in the past. I’m always thrilled to capture the magic of families through photography and preserve some happy memories. Hope you enjoy viewing some of my favorite portraits from these recent sessions.

Mrs. Jennings has been teaching my girls piano for years now. And she has an incredibly talented team of teachers who teach piano, voice, violin, and dozens of other instruments. I enjoyed meeting her husband and her cute little dog Sophie during their portrait session this summer. If you want more information about her music lessons, click here.

It was my pleasure to meet and photograph the Davidson family and their adorable puppy during an outdoor portrait session recently. And their sweet puppy behaved nicely during their portrait session, thanks to a handful of treats!
