Carolyn’s Baby Photoshoot | Carmel Indiana | Baby Photography
Well isn’t Miss Carolyn one of the smiliest babies I’ve seen in a long time! She’s the spitting image of her big sister, and she was just all sunshine, smiles, and happiness at her recent photoshoot at the Village of West Clay in Carmel. So delighted every time I get to photograph this sweet family. I asked Carolyn’s mom to tell me a bit about Carolyn.
Tell me a bit about Carolyn’s personality.
Carolyn is super social and curious! She is happiest when she is right in the middle of the action, and she could spend all day watching her sister play. Her belly laughs are contagious. She is babbling like crazy and has a lot to say!
What about her developmental milestones? What is she doing these days?
How do you manage caring for a toddler and a baby?
We, of course, have our moments. Why is it that when one cries, the other decides to also cry? But for the most part, having girls 19 months apart has been a great journey. I’m so excited to watch them grow up together and, hopefully, be wonderful friends. They also have a stepbrother, Noah, who is 11 years old, and he is their world! They are so lucky to have such a great brother who enjoys spending time with them, and it’s definitely a big help when he is around!
Are the girls starting to interact with one another?
Oh yes! Bathtime is a hit in our house. The girls bathe together now, and Charlotte loves washing the baby. We also love morning snuggles in bed with books. Recently Charlotte’s favorite phrase has been “No, baby!” which happens every time Carolyn grabs a toy. Sharing toys is definitely going to be a challenge in our house!
What’s your favorite thing about this stage?
Six months is a great age. The world really opens up for them — sitting up and moving around, trying out new foods, starting to interact more with people and toys. Everything is new and exciting and you can really see their little personalities developing.
