Baby Beckham’s newborn portrait session in my Carmel studio was full of sweet moments and family love. From his tiny features to his soft expressions, he was an absolute dream to photograph. His parents and big brother, Finnegan, joined in for some beautiful family portraits, making the session even more special. Finnegan was so happy about his new baby brother. He smiled the entire time and was so gentle with Beckham. It was heartwarming to capture their bond in these early days.
We started the session with Beckham in a natural pose. He looked absolutely adorable lying naked on a cute wicker baby bed. This setup kept the focus on his tiny hands, feet, and soft newborn features. He curled up perfectly, creating a sweet and simple portrait that his parents will always cherish. There is something so timeless about newborns in their purest form, and this pose captured that beautifully.
Next, I dressed Beckham in a cozy green knit outfit and placed him on a brown wooden baby bed. The soft fabric of his outfit, combined with the warm tones of the wood, gave the photos a rustic and natural feel. He looked so peaceful as he rested in this setup, making it easy to capture those classic, sleepy newborn poses. The little details, from his tiny fingers to his relaxed expression, made these portraits extra special.
After capturing individual newborn portraits, we moved on to family shots. Beckham snuggled up in his parents’ arms while Finnegan proudly stood beside them. It was clear how much love this family has for their newest member. Finnegan could not stop smiling, and his excitement was contagious. He gently touched Beckham’s tiny hands and looked at him with so much wonder. Capturing the love between siblings is always one of my favorite parts of a newborn session, and this was no exception. These family portraits will be treasured forever, marking the beginning of a beautiful bond between brothers.
Then it was time for some fun with wraps and props. I swaddled Beckham in a soft golden wrap with delicate bows down the front and placed him in a vintage wire egg basket. This setup added a classic and artistic touch to his portraits. He looked so snug and peaceful, curled up in the basket like a tiny, perfect bundle. The warm tones of the wrap complemented his delicate features, creating a timeless and elegant look.
For the final setup, I dressed Beckham in a simple baby blue wrap and placed him on a bed of soft gray fur. The contrast between the textures of the wrap and the fur made these portraits extra dreamy. He slept soundly, making it easy to capture those perfectly relaxed newborn poses. The soft blue color added a gentle and calming feel to the images, making them some of my favorites from the session.
Beckham’s newborn session was filled with love, warmth, and sweet family moments. From his tiny toes to his peaceful expressions, every detail was captured beautifully. Finnegan’s joy made the session even more special, showing just how much love surrounds this little one. It was an honor to photograph Beckham in his first days of life, and I know his family will cherish these images for years to come. I cannot wait to see how he grows and how his bond with Finnegan continues to blossom.
