Celebrating Magnolia’s Newborn Photoshoot | Carmel
All the blooming trees this spring have me thinking back to sweet baby Magnolia’s newborn photoshoot. Her name fit the season perfectly, and her session was full of soft colors, pretty florals, and cozy moments.
We photographed Magnolia in my Carmel photography studio, and she was a dream to work with. Her newborn pictures started with her wearing a yellow romper and a matching floral headband. She was placed on a vintage quilt, lying in a tiny baby bed, looking peaceful and sweet.
Next, we wrapped her in a blue floral swaddle with a matching tieback. She was placed in an antique egg basket and surrounded by tiny flowers. The setup felt like spring in a photo, and Magnolia looked absolutely beautiful.
We also swaddled her in pink and yellow and laid her on a soft bed of pink fur. Her soft features and dark hair stood out perfectly against the warm tones. Every single picture showed how precious and perfect she is.
The session ended with pictures of Magnolia with her mom and dad. You could tell just how much they love her. They were completely smitten and so happy to be holding their sweet baby girl.
