Easton’s Wrapped Mini Newborn Photoshoot
Sweet baby Easton came to my portrait studio in Carmel, Indiana for her wrapped mini newborn session, and she was a dream to photograph. This type of session is perfect for new parents who want simple, sweet photos of their baby all wrapped up in cozy swaddles. Easton’s session included a few different wrap and prop combinations, and she looked absolutely precious in each one.
Beautiful Wraps and Peaceful Sleep
We started the session with a beige swaddle. Easton wore a lovely beige and green floral halo and was gently placed in a basket. She was sound asleep and so peaceful. Her dark, gorgeous hair peeked out from under the halo, adding to the charm of the portrait. She looked like a little angel.
Next, I wrapped her in a soft pink swaddle with lace accents. The lace added a gentle, delicate feel to the portrait. Easton stayed asleep the whole time, making it easy to move through the different setups without disturbing her.
We ended the session with a peach-colored swaddle, paired with a matching peach and cream floral halo. The warm tones looked beautiful against her skin and dark hair. Every photo showed just how tiny and perfect she is.

During Baby Easton’s session, her mom took a few behind-the-scenes videos of me in action as I gently wrapped and posed her sweet baby girl. I love when parents capture these moments—it gives them a peek into the care and detail that goes into every portrait. It also shows how calm and cozy the studio is during a newborn photography session. Watching Easton sleep peacefully while I worked with her wraps and props was such a special part of the day, and I’m so glad her mom now has those memories on video too!
