Done-for-You Blog and Social Media Posts for Photographers

social media blogging service for photographers logo

I’ve been doing so much SEO teaching and coaching this year, and the message I keep hearing over and over from my clients is “I know I need to blog and post on social media, I just don’t…

  • KNOW HOW
  • HAVE TIME
  • KNOW WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT

I’ve been scratching my head for a while, trying to figure out how to provide a service photographers need in a way that’s cost-effective for them, because let’s face it – while most photographers would love to hire someone to handle their blogging and social media marketing, they simply don’t have the budget to add that person to their staff.

For me, writing comes easily.  Before I was a photographer, I was a writer.  I have a degree in journalism, I’ve written two books, and spent more than a decade as a television news executive producer.

blogging social media marketing for photographers

If you know anything about local news, you know that there’s a LOT of it.  Most local stations now produce an average of 6 hours of news a day, and usually on a tight budget.  How do they fill all that time with valuable content that their viewers will find interesting and compelling?  They buy stories from news providers like CNN.  CNN puts together a story that it airs on CNN, then sends that same story to all the tv stations that subscribe to the CNN news feed.  These stations use those same stories as part of their own news coverage.

Then it dawned on me.  That’s EXACTLY what photographers need.  Someone to create relevant content geared towards their target audience.  Content that they could just copy, paste, and post.

Introducing Copy|Paste|Post|Done.  This monthly subscription service is a compromise for photographers who know they need to keep their blog and social media channels fresh, active and engaged, but aren’t doing it (or aren’t doing it well) and want a cost-effective way to get it done.

Copy | Paste | Post | Done Membership

$99 per month

CPPD members will be part of an exclusive group of photographers who are SERIOUS about growing their business.  Our team of writers and graphic artists create blog articles and social media posts your perfect client to relate to AND engage with.  CPPD members will also have access to our SEO for Photographers course so you can optimize your website.  This course is delivered in three monthly installments.

    • 1 blog post each week with at least 750 words geared towards your target audience.  Each post will be optimized to help your search engine rankings.
    • 8 social media posts per month with images resized to fit Facebook & Instagram.  These posts are designed to encourage engagement – which is exactly what your social media needs to do in order to get your posts in front of more people!
    • My complete course on Search Engine Optimization for Photographers.  I teaching the actual process I’ve used over the last 18 years to keep my own website ranking on page one for my chosen keywords and run a successful portrait studio that has not only provided an income for myself but also allowed my husband to quit his job and work full time in the business.  This is not fluff.  It isn’t theory.  And I won’t hold anything back.  Those who’ve taken my classes before know I am an open book.

After being in the industry for 12 years and having a good google rating, I can’t wait to get started with Copy | Paste | Post | Done!  You can never learn too much in your business. I’m excited about what 2020 is going to do for my business and the new tools I will learn.  I met Leah at the Newborn and Beyond Retreat and attended her SEO class.  It was a game-changer, totally blown away!  I’m looking forward to more mind-blowing moments and to learning lots of new marketing and SEO tips as a member of her group.

I had the pleasure of meeting Leah at an event in South Carolina and learned so much from her about SEO.   I can’t wait to participate in Copy Paste Post Done!

Ready to Join us?

Copy|Paste|Post|Done is a monthly subscription service.   You are not locked into any long-term commitments.  Membership will be limited geographically so there are not multiple photographers in one market sharing the same content.  Membership is available on a first-come, first-served basis. To get the process started, email your COMPLETE address to leah@lseverson.com. Also, if you have a referral code, please include that information. Please note that we cannot check a territory with just your city/state/zip code.  We must have your street address.  If you work from home, please list your home address as your business address.  We will contact you to let you know how to claim your territory if it’s available.

FAQs

Is Copy | Paste | Post | Done content about photography?
No.  CPPD writers create articles that are not about photography but about things that are interesting and compelling to your target audience.

For instance, if you subscribe to the maternity/baby content, you will receive content that is relevant, interesting, and entertaining to those who are pregnant or have a baby.  This could include things like car seat recalls, the must-have baby products,  or how to get baby to sleep through the night, etc.

Will there be multiple  Copy | Paste | Post | Done genres to subscribe to?
Yes.  Initially, CPPD will start with a Maternity/Baby Feed.  A Children/Family feed and Wedding feed will be next.

Won’t it seem strange if other photographers are posting the same stories?
CPPD membership is limited so there won’t be any other photographers in your immediate marketing area sharing the same content.  While other photographers might see that you are posting the same content as someone else, your clients likely do not follow photographers outside their geographic location, so they are not likely to see that another photographer has posted the same content.

Will other photographers in my area also be able to subscribe to CPPD?
CPPD will only allow one photographer per genre to join.  For instance, if there are three photographers in the same area but one chooses our Wedding content, one chooses our Children/Family content, and one chooses our Maternity/Baby content, then all three would be allowed to subscribe.  CPPD members will have exclusive rights to use our content in their territory.  The protected area is a 50-mile driving distance from your business address.  If you work from home, the protected area is a 50-mile driving distance from your home.

Will your other educational classes be territory protected?
No.  Only the Copy | Paste | Post | Done blog and social media content is territory protected.  All of my educational products, workshops, mentoring and other services are available to everyone.  However, only Copy | Paste | Post | Done subscribers will be allowed to join the CPPD private Facebook group.

Will this cause problem with Google if I’m posting the same content other photographers are posting?
When Google refers to “duplicate content” it is not referring to the same content on multiple websites, but rather the same content on multiple pages of the same website.   Posting these articles on your blog will not hurt your SEO.  In fact, it will help your SEO by providing fresh, relevant content (Google loves this!) and driving traffic to your website.   If you want to know more about this, click here to find a video released by Google about duplicate content myths, and also a fun little experiment you can do to prove that websites publish duplicate content without penalty all the time.

Do I have to commit to a whole year?
CPPD membership is a monthly subscription service.  Leave anytime you like.    But we’ll miss you.

Who owns the content?
CPPD owns the content.  Members will be granted permission to post the content on one website, on the social media accounts associated with that website, and in newsletters associated with that website.

How do I join?
Email leah@lseverson.com. Provide your business address and we’ll check to see if your territory is available.

How do I pay?
Your payment will be automatically deducted from your payment method each month.

Testimonials

“I’ve had a chance to meet and learn from Leah during a Newborn And Beyond Photography retreat. The retreat had a long list of amazing teachers and vendors but what I loved the most and learned the most from was Leah’s class. I actually told my friends that the whole retreat would’ve been worth the investment for her class alone! She is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share all she knows. Friendly, open to questions ( a lot of those 🙂 and willing to go the extra mile to help her students. I am extremely grateful for being able to learn from her and I hope to be able to attend more of her classes. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn more about the business / SEO side of photography.”

“Leah’s Market Like a Mother class was a game-changer for me. She taught me things that are simple to execute and cost-effective but will have a big impact on my photography business. As soon as I left the class I began putting her lessons to use (that’s how easy it is!)!  I really had no clue what I was doing when it came to marketing, now I have a much clearer vision!”

If you need to revamp your Instagram and learn how to get followers and how to navigate your Instagram … YOU MUST go take Leah Severson’s workshop online! I’m so excited to watch my followers grow!!!!  While following along I posted on Instagram using some new tips from her class and after snagging some new followers – not joking – within 4 minutes of my post I had 2 orders right away for the Free Form which was what my post was for!  I yelped! “Leah is one of the most resourceful people I have learned from. The information she gave me during our workshop was incredible and VERY IMPORTANT to know. I truly believe when I put everything to use, I will be the top of the first page on Google Search! It was truly a business changing class! If you learn SEO from Leah, you are set for success already!! Thank you so much for sharing so much and not holding anything back! “

Oh, how I needed this! I took the “Market Like A Mother” class and it is FULL of ideas that I can implement right away and get results. Leah doesn’t hold anything back and shares all of her great ideas on how to get your clients to market FOR you, both online and offline. And they are all very doable!! She is a genius! I can’t wait to get going on all of the ideas she gave and teach my clients to be “mini marketing machines!” Thank you, Leah Severson!

“Leah’s Instagram class has my mind blown!  I can’t believe how wrong I had it all until now!  I was stuck in an Instagram rut, no growth or post interactions for so long and I thought I was social media savvy.  Everyone can learn a thing or two from Leah. I can’t wait to get started and watch my Instagram finally grow! I highly recommend this class – you can’t put a price tag on the knowledge she shares.  I can’t wait for more classes in the future.”

“I’ve taken several SEO courses – never applied much of it, but I thought yours was truly the best one I’ve experienced. Your delivery was fun and personable, as well as straight to the point. I don’t feel overwhelmed by SEO – it’s more of a nuisance than rocket science. Yet, your explanation and how-to presentation were easy to understand and you made my to-do list seem manageable. Overall, you took what some would say is a “foreign language” and made the content relatable and achievable. I’m really excited to delve into your instructions and suggestions and create a site that delivers.”

“SEO is my weakness. When I learned that SEO was being covered with Leah, I found myself hoping that I can recover from the holes that are always left when we relocate. I learned so much! Leah was by far one of the most thorough teachers that I have ever worked with. Leah hit on so many items that are easily adjustable, make sense, and align perfectly with my business.  Leah, I truly appreciate the knowledge that I gained from you. It was all so enlightening!!”

“Just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge with us during your SEO CLASS. You literally bombarded us with so much valuable information regarding not only SEO but also your shared ideas on what-how-where to shift our focus in building a small business. You are a walking encyclopedia and in few hours you were able to present a lot of points that I will definitely use in my SEO building. Now I have tools and the language to use in order to achieve the results I need. Definitely plenty of “aha” moments! Highly recommend this class to anyone who is looking into learning more about SEO!  Thank you! Thank you!”

“I can’t wait to employ the new tools I’ve learned.  I thought I was knowledgeable in posting – knew I needed to know more – but thought I was doing okay.  Now I know why my growth is slow – but more importantly, I know how to get where I want to be. Thank you, Leah!!

“Leah’s class is life-changing. I can’t wait to go home and apply all the tricks she shared with us. I would love to take a longer class with her. What I have learned in just a few hours is way more that I learned with much longer courses. Thank you so much, Leah, you are phenomenal!”

“As a professional newborn photographer, I love the creative aspects of my job: posing, styling, editing but I hate, hate, hate the business side. SEO has been the looming giant I just can’t seem to conquer for a while now and I’ve tried to do some research on my own that just never clicked. I recently attended a retreat where Leah was teaching a class on SEO and I’ll be honest – I wanted to learn but the thought of attending and what information it might include made my head hurt. Despite the class only being scheduled to last about 90 minutes, Leah did her very best to fill her class with as much useful information as possible and explain in a way that even we could understand. I still don’t 100% understand everything but she gave so many helpful tips that I plan to implement as soon as possible. I wish Leah could have kept going because I’m sure she had so much more to teach us since SEO can be quite daunting. I plan to reach out and hire Leah at some point to help with my site’s SEO. She’s highly intelligent, very knowledgeable on the subject(s), and isn’t afraid to elaborate more if a student simply doesn’t understand a certain concept. I thoroughly enjoyed her class and look forward to working with her more.”

“Leah was a fantastic teacher.  She made a difficult topic understandable.  My head was spinning but in a good way. I knew nothing about SEO and now I know a lot more.  I am motivated to learn more to help my business grow because of her lecture. She had high energy during her class which was the last one of the conference. Thanks so much for a wonderful lecture.”

“Thank you for such a wonderful class. I loved learning from you, Leah. You are such an amazing teacher and woman! Thank you for sharing the sea of knowledge that you’ve accumulated through years and years of your own experiences, trials, and errors. I feel like I am getting a jump start in my own SEO and marketing journey for my business. I could have listened to you for many more hours. I hope I get to sit in one of your classes again in the future. I know you have so much more to share!”

“Leah’s Mastering Instagram for Photographers was such a huge help for me! I knew there was so much that I needed to work on, but I didn’t know what to do or where to start. Leah teaches you step-by-step what to do and why to do it. She also lets you know what NOT to do!! I can’t wait to get started on perfecting my Instagram page and watching it grow and grow. Thanks for all of the tools and the great tips Leah! I would highly recommend this class to anyone that has an Instagram page!”

“Omg, this course was extremely informational. I can not wait to practice what I learned in this course. Definitely worth it. Leah is amazing and will explain everything. It is amazing for another photographer to be supportive of other photographers.”

“I am not Instagram savvy and barely had 125 followers.  I have been contemplating taking down my account altogether.  Your class made me realize that it was not necessary.  To say I gained some valuable information is a gross understatement.  I am not currently utilizing the stories or highlights. In all honesty, I was so concerned with my quality of work. I have upgraded my gear, props and now my social media.  I just recently raised my prices and have heard crickets. I am desperately trying to grow and book clients. I love what I do and want to continue to do so.  Thank you so much for this opportunity! Helping one another should be a common goal. We are strongest together!”

“Tonight’s Instagram Mastery for Photographers gave me a whole new outlook on all the potential clients I have been missing out on! I’m so thankful for you answering all the questions I could possibly have as well as walking through all the steps!! I can’t wait to take what I learned from this and put it out there full force!!  I couldn’t be more thankful for you and the classes you teach Leah Severson! You’re truly amazing!”

“I took Leah’s Instagram Masterclass because I am pretty clueless. But everyone who’s anyone says Instagram is where it’s at! Leah dissects Instagram one layer at a time and really helped me to get into the mindset of today’s social media user. And every time she peeled back a new layer I was shocked to learn there’s MORE! I have been using Instagram wrong this entire time! It is a powerful tool that every business owner needs to master and Leah’s class will definitely help you get there! Less than a week after taking the Instagram Mastery class, I have increased my followers from 40 people to 120 and counting. I have also been receiving new inquiries as well!! So helpful! Thanks so much!

“I really enjoyed your class last evening. SEO is the unknown to me even though I know it is important and necessary! I came back to my room with tons of notes and couldn’t sleep so I got out my laptop and looked at my website and blog to compare. I am excited to return home and implement changes to improve my SEO. I appreciated your patience and the wealth of knowledge and expertise you were willing to share! It would be such an amazing thing to win a website review! Thank you very much!”
