Rexon & Evita | Maternity Photography | Carmel, Indiana
I’m so excited and happy for this sweet couple as they recently welcomed their newborn baby girl! I photographed Rexon and Evita’s maternity photoshoot in a beautiful wild field in Carmel. Evita wore a gorgeous burgundy gown that perfectly complemented her beautiful dark hair.
I asked Evita how things were going with sweet baby Eva. Here’s what she had to say.
How is your newborn baby doing?
Baby Eva is doing well. Her name is Eva Ariah Dsouza.
How did you come up with Eva’s name?
Rexon and I did a lot of research, and based on the names’ meanings we selected Eva Ariah.
Anything about parenting a newborn baby that surprises you?
Everything is a surprise for us being first-time parents. We go by her lead and learn something new each day.
Favorite thing about being a new mom?
I love everything about being a mom to Eva. I feel overly blessed.
What’s the hardest part about being a mom to a newborn?
Trying to figure out the new cues when she is fussy.
Has baby Eva met the relatives yet or gone on any trips?
My dad came over all the way from Bahrain to help and support us. We have not visited any relatives since her birth.
What’s the most useful newborn baby product you have?
Butt Paste (rash cream).
What baby product did you buy but you don’t really use?
Johnson & Johnson.
What pregnancy and parenting books did you read?
I spoke to parents and siblings to understand and gain practical experience.
If you could tell an “about to be a first-time mom” anything, what would it be?
Be ready for surprises, build a lot of patience, live every moment as time flies too fast.
