Meet Dr. Cami Hovda of Carmel Dental Group. She’s been an L. Severson Portraits client for years. I recently asked her to share a little bit about herself and her business.

Tell me about your Carmel Dental Practice

Carmel Dental Group is a Cosmetic/Family dental practice serving all ages.

How did you get into dentistry??

I was planning a career in medical research when I was offered a job by my orthodontist. I worked as his assistant during my years of education and fell in love with the field of dentistry. I love science and art and with dentistry you get to do both.

What’s your favorite part of being a dentist?

The people!! I love to serve my patients and providing the best in care and attention is my goal. I also love my team, I work alongside a talented group of individuals who make coming to work a true treat.

Tell us about your family.

I have been married to my husband, Tim for 18 years and we have two children ages 12 and 10.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Spend time with my family, explore the outdoors and enjoy a good book.
