You know, I’ve been doing this photography thing for a long time. 20+ years now, and sometimes when I’m traipsing through weeds, getting eaten up by the mosquitos, and have sweat rolling in unmentionable places, I wonder why the hell I’m still doing this.

Then people like this show up and I remember. I’ve been photographing this beauty since she was probably about 2 weeks old. Every single year. And when I see her family, it’s really like hanging out with dear friends. It’s not work at all. And that’s my why.
