About Indianapolis Photographer Leah Severson
Hello! Welcome to my page about little old me. I’m glad you’re here! My photography clients are like family to me, so I feel like it’s only fair to get a little personal with you.
I married Todd, an Iowa boy, almost 30 years ago, and after all these years he’s still the person whose company I most enjoy. We have two daughters, Emma & Lindsay, who are grown and graduated and my most successful endeavor so far. Lindsay is a human resources specialist who lives in Michigan, and Emma is an industrial engineer enjoying the mountains in Colorado.
When I’m not taking pictures, I’m frequently working my second business, which is teaching small business owners how to get to the top of Google. I learned the hard way. Now I teach it in an easy system so my students don’t have to struggle and sweat like I did. If you’d like to know more about this, click here.
When I’m not taking pictures or geeking out on SEO, I like to walk in the woods. It’s where all the great ideas hide! I also like to read a great book, watch a bit of tv, hang out with those I love, and travel.
I’ve been photographing Indianapolis-area families since 2002. I love to watch my clients’ children grow, and see them come in year after year. So many have become dear personal friends to me, and quite frequently a day at the studio feels more like a day hanging out with my favorite people.
I’d love to meet your family, make you part of ours, create some beautiful artwork to grace your walls, and help you freeze a moment in the story of your family.
In October, 2009, at the age of 42, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I now consider it my personal mission to encourage women to get their annual mammogram. If I had the choice, I wouldn’t choose to go through this. But I wouldn’t want to miss some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way. I do believe that even in this, God has a plan.
Id love to meet your family, make you part of ours, create some beautiful artwork to grace your walls, and help you freeze a moment in the story of your family.
xxoo,
Leah
