FAQs about your Senior Pictures

When is the best time to take senior photos?

Most seniors have their portraits taken in the summer prior to their senior year. It’s best to get these done before school starts, as schedules can get quite crowded once the school year begins.

What should I wear for my senior photoshoot?

The sky is truly the limit for senior portrait outfits. I recommend that you pick a variety of colors, styles and levels of formalities. For instance, for the boys, consider a suit or sports coat, then something more casual.

For senior girls, I would recommend at least one dressier outfit then the other more casual and fun.

How many outfits can I wear for my pictures?

That depends on which session you book. Each senior portrait package comes with a specific number of pictures and outfit changes. Please check out the pricing section of this page for more information on that.

How long will it take to get my pictures back?

A few weeks after your portrait session, you’ll receive an online gallery of beautiful senior portraits. You’ll select your favorite pictures from this gallery. Once you have selected your favorite pictures from your senior photoshoot, those pictures move into the editing process. You’ll get your final, beautifully edited pictures back 2-3 weeks after that.

Can I include my family in my pictures?

Yes. You can choose the family mini add-on to any senior portrait session to get an updated family portrait at the same time as your senior portrait session.

Can I include my dog/musical instruments/props?

Certainly! We encourage seniors to include anything that’s special to them during their senior year. Just let me what you’re planning to bring so I can plan it into your photoshoot.

How long does a senior photoshoot usually last?

That depends on which senior portrait package you select. Senior sessions can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 2-3 hours, all depending on which package you purchase.
