How do I book a session?

You can book by calling or texting 317-867-3723 or by filling out the contact form on our website. We'll chat about your vision and find a date that works for you.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance, especially for newborns. Newborn sessions should ideally be scheduled before your baby arrives since the best window is within the first 2 weeks of birth.

Where are you located?

Our studio is at 101 Monon Blvd Unit 1B, Carmel, IN 46032. We also offer outdoor sessions at various locations around the Carmel and Indianapolis area.

What should I wear to my session?

We'll send you a styling guide after you book! Generally, soft neutrals and coordinating (not matching) outfits photograph beautifully. Avoid busy patterns and large logos.

How long does a session take?

It depends on the type of session. Newborn sessions typically take 2-3 hours, family sessions run about 1-1.5 hours, and senior and maternity sessions are usually around 1 hour.

Do you shoot indoors, outdoors, or both?

Both! We have a fully equipped studio in Carmel and also shoot at beautiful outdoor locations throughout the Indianapolis area.

How long until I get my photos?

Your gallery will be ready within 2-3 weeks of your session. You'll receive a private online gallery to view, share, and order from.

How many photos will I receive?

The number varies by session type, but you'll receive a generous collection of fully edited, professional images.

Do you offer prints and products?

Yes! In addition to digital images, we offer professional print products including wall art, albums, and more. We'll walk you through your options at your ordering appointment.

What areas do you serve?

FAQs about your Newborn Photoshoot

When should I schedule my newborn photography session?

It’s best to schedule your session before your baby is born to ensure I have an opening for your photoshoot.
I recommend booking during your second trimester so we can reserve space around your due date and adjust once your baby arrives. Simply send an inquiry and I’ll guide you through the easy booking process.
However, if your baby has already arrived, that’s fine too! Call 317-867-3723

How do I prepare my baby for his newborn portrait session?

Newborns who are sleepy and have full tummies cooperate the most for photographs.
To allow me to take the best pictures of your new baby, please keep him or her awake for at least one hour before the scheduled photo session so he’s nice and sleepy when it’s time for his photoshoot. Giving your baby a bath is a great way to keep him awake and wear him out at the same time.

I would like to add my family to my newborn photoshoot. Is that possible?

You can add immediate family members to your newborn portrait session at no additional cost. I love including parents and siblings in family sessions, and I’m always happy to incorporate newborn and family images that highlight your connection. However, our mini newborn session is baby only and does not include pictures with parents or siblings.

When will I get to view my newborn portraits?

You will receive a link to an online portrait gallery within two weeks of your baby’s photoshoot. The gallery will show all your proofs so you can select your favorite baby pictures from the comfort of your home.

Do I need to bring outfits for my newborn photoshoot?

You don’t need to bring any outfits, wraps, or blankets to your newborn photoshoot. I have all the props, wraps, outfits, hats, and headbands for your perfect newborn portrait session. My outfits are specifically designed to be worn during a newborn photoshoot.

Can I include relatives in my newborn baby’s photoshoot?

Extended family can be added to a newborn portrait session for an additional fee.
