Westfield Isn’t Just Where I Work. It’s Where I Raised My Family.
My husband Todd and I chose Westfield to raise our two daughters. We watched them grow up here, go through Westfield schools, and find their way out into the world. I have photographed this community for over 20 years, and I have watched many of the families I first met with newborns come back for cake smashes, then family portraits, then senior pictures.
Westfield is not a market to me. It is my community, and I am genuinely honored to document the families who call it home. When you book a session with me, you are not hiring a photographer who found your zip code in a search. You are working with someone who knows Cool Creek Park in every season, who has shot golden hour at Asa Bales Park more times than she can count, and who understands that Westfield families want portraits that feel as real and warm as this town actually is.
My studio is near Carmel, just a short drive south of Westfield. Reach out here and let’s start planning.
Portrait Photography Services in Westfield, Indiana
Westfield families are at the heart of what I do. Whether you are a growing family overdue for updated portraits, a couple expecting their first baby and looking for maternity photos that actually feel like you, or parents who just realized their newborn is already three weeks old and the window is closing, I am ready for you.
I photograph families, newborns, maternity, baby milestones and cake smashes, seniors, and boudoir. Everything except weddings and events. If it matters to your family, it matters to me.
Senior portraits hold a special place for me in Westfield. I have watched so many kids in this community grow up in front of my camera, and when they come back for their senior session it genuinely feels like a milestone I get to share with their whole family. I design each session around who the senior actually is, using Westfield’s parks and downtown as backdrops or going wherever feels most like them.
If you have a senior in the Class of 2026 or 2027, now is the right time to book. Learn more about senior portrait sessions here.
Baby milestone sessions and cake smash photography are pure joy from start to finish. Whether your little one dives headfirst into their birthday cake or sizes it up with deep suspicion, I will capture exactly who they are at this moment. These sessions go fast, babies change fast, and the photos last forever.
What Kind of Session Are You Looking For?
What Westfield Families Are Saying
“Leah was absolutely amazing. She was extremely accommodating and let us push back our time, which was helpful considering we have a new newborn. She also let us combine our newborn shot and add a couple of family photos to include grandparents. Her photos came out absolutely beautiful and I will definitely be using her for six month photos.”
Arianna Tomaino | Newborn Session
“From our two sons infant and toddler pics to now senior and family pictures, Leah is the best. We’ve used her for years. The sessions are quick and effortless. We can even bring our dog for the family pictures. Her attention to detail is superb. Highly recommend her!”
Stephanie Ray | Senior & Family Sessions
“The most cherished photos have been of my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren through the years. Leah captures the traits and personalities of the subjects. You will be amazed when you see that your infant becomes a toddler, then a teenager, then an adult. Leah has found a way to memorialize their individuality.”

Great Places to Take Pictures in Westfield, Indiana
After 20 years photographing Westfield families, these are the locations I come back to again and again.
Cool Creek Park | 2000 E. 151st Street
Cool Creek is my most-used Westfield location and for good reason. The winding creek, wooden bridges, and dense tree canopy create naturally soft, flattering light that works beautifully for family portraits and senior sessions in every season.
Asa Bales Park | 205 W. Hoover Street
The footbridges, gazebo, and open green space at Asa Bales make it one of the most versatile spots in Westfield. It is especially beautiful in late spring when everything is in bloom, and the charming downtown setting gives portraits a warm, storybook quality.
Downtown Westfield
The brick buildings, colorful murals, and historic streetscape of downtown Westfield give portraits a character you cannot replicate in a studio. It is an ideal setting for seniors who want something bold and urban, and for families who want something that feels distinctly Westfield.
MacGregor Park | MacGregor Park Road
Wooded trails, open fields, and wildflowers make MacGregor Park a beautiful spot for nature-inspired portraits. Golden hour here in late summer is exceptional, with warm light filtering through the tree line in a way that is hard to recreate anywhere else.
Quaker Park | 17501 Dartown Road
Quaker Park’s mix of open green space, walking trails, and relaxed surroundings makes it a natural fit for families who want a casual, playful session. It is especially great when young kids are involved since there is room to run and move between shots.
Raymond Worth Park | Little Eagle Creek Ave
This quieter, less-trafficked park has a peaceful natural setting with ponds, wildflowers, and shaded trails that are perfect for intimate sessions. It photographs beautifully and rarely has the crowds you find at more well-known locations.
Frequently Asked Questions About Portrait Photography in Westfield
Where is your portrait studio for Westfield clients?
My studio is near Carmel, just a short drive south of Westfield. It is fully equipped for newborn, milestone, and boudoir sessions and easy to reach from any Westfield neighborhood.
How far in advance should I book?
For newborn sessions, book during your second trimester if you can. The ideal window is within the first two to three weeks of birth and my calendar fills fast. If your baby is already here, call me anyway at 317-867-3723 and I will do my best to get you in. For family, maternity, and senior sessions, four to six weeks ahead is ideal, especially in spring and fall.
Can we shoot at an outdoor location in Westfield?
Absolutely. I shoot at Westfield locations all the time. Cool Creek Park, Asa Bales Park, MacGregor Park, and downtown Westfield are all places I know well and use regularly for family and senior sessions.
Do I need to bring props or outfits for a newborn session?
No. I have everything you need. My studio has a full collection of wraps, backdrops, headbands, and handmade props. You just bring the baby.
What if my baby is fussy during the session?
That is completely normal and nothing to stress about. I build plenty of time into every session for feeding, soothing, and waiting for the right moment. After 20 years of newborn photography I have seen everything and a fussy baby has never ruined a session.
When will I receive my photos?
Your private online gallery will be ready within two weeks of your session. From there you can download, share, and order prints directly through the gallery.
Serving Families Throughout Westfield, Indiana
I photograph Westfield families every week, from established neighborhoods like Viking Meadows, Springmill Trails, and Bridgewater Club to newer developments throughout the city. Whether you live near downtown Westfield or out toward the edges of town, I know this area well and I am happy to come to you for an outdoor session or have you come to my studio near Carmel.
Westfield has grown enormously in the time I have been photographing here, but the heart of the community has stayed the same. Families who put down roots here tend to stay, and I have been lucky enough to photograph many of those families across multiple chapters of their lives. If you are new to Westfield and looking for a photographer who actually knows this town, I would love to meet you.
