Welcome to my newborn photography page! I’m Leah Severson, a newborn photographer based in Indianapolis, serving families in Carmel, Westfield, Noblesville, Zionsville, and surrounding areas. For more than 20 years, I’ve had the absolute joy of capturing those first precious days of life for families. Newborns grow and change so quickly, and I love helping parents freeze those sweet, fleeting moments through beautiful, timeless photography that will be treasured for generations.

There’s something so magical about those early days with a newborn—the tiny toes, soft cheeks, and delicate expressions that can melt your heart in an instant. My goal is to capture every detail so you can look back and remember exactly how your baby looked in those first moments of life. I create a calm and cozy environment for each photoshoot, where both baby and parents can relax and enjoy the experience. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I’m trained to work with newborns to ensure they are comfortable and secure throughout the session.

Each newborn photoshoot is unique, just like each little one I have the privilege to photograph. Whether we’re working with soft, natural lighting in the studio or capturing your baby in a simple outdoor setup, I’ll bring out the beauty in every little feature. I offer a variety of wraps, props, and backdrops so we can create a set of portraits that reflects your family’s style and personality.

Whether you’d like to focus on your newborn alone, capture heartwarming moments with siblings, or include the whole family, we can tailor the session to meet your needs.

The full session takes place in our cozy studio, You’ll receive 24 beautifully edited digital photographs, with full reprint rights. This means you can print and share your favorite images as often as you like,

 

Mini Newborn Photoshoot $399

 

The mini newborn portrait session is a sweet and simple way to capture the innocence of your newborn in those early days.

During this session, your little one will be comfortably wrapped in a selection of soft, cozy fabrics, creating timeless images that you will cherish forever. The session is designed to be quick and easy, ensuring your baby stays content while we capture those precious memories.

You’ll receive 10 beautiful digital images, each one a perfect reflection of your newborn’s early days.
