Welcoming a newborn is a special time for a family. A professional newborn photoshoot helps capture these early days so they can be remembered forever. I had the joy of photographing Baby Pastora in my Carmel, Indiana studio. She has beautiful dark hair and the sweetest little features. Her session was filled with soft colors, cozy blankets, and adorable setups that made her look even more precious.
We started Pastora’s photoshoot with a soft blue wrap. She was placed in a vintage white baby bed, which made for a peaceful and classic look. The soft blue color looked beautiful against her tiny features. The little bed added a touch of charm and made her look like she was resting in a perfect little dream. She stayed calm and snug in her wrap, making this setup extra sweet.
For her next photos, we went with a soft and natural theme. Pastora was placed on a warm brown wooden baby bed with layers of pink fabric and pretty flowers around her. She wore a tiny floral headband that made her look extra cute. The pink tones and floral accents created a soft and timeless feel. Her dark hair stood out beautifully, making these pictures some of the most special from her session.
Next, Pastora was wrapped in a mauve-colored swaddle with a matching bow. She was placed on a soft pile of beige fur, making her look even cozier. The gentle tones in this setup matched her tiny features perfectly. The warm and neutral colors gave the photos a peaceful and classic look. This setup was simple but created a feeling of warmth and love, making it one of my favorites.
For the last setup, we placed Pastora in a blush-colored wrap with a matching headband. She was placed in a tiny wire egg basket, which gave her photos a soft and delicate look. This part of the session was extra fun because she was wide awake. She looked around with her bright eyes, giving us adorable expressions. Awake newborn photos are always special because they show a baby’s curiosity and personality. Her tiny hands and sweet little face made this setup absolutely perfect.
