Meet Beckham — Carmel Newborn Photography
Big brother Finnegan set the tone for this entire session the moment he walked through the door. He was smiling before he even sat down, and he stayed that way for the whole morning. Beckham came to my newborn photography studio in Carmel, Indiana with a family that was clearly already head over heels for him, and it showed in every single frame.
We started with Beckham natural on a wicker baby bed, keeping the focus entirely on his tiny hands, feet, and perfect newborn features. From there I dressed him in a cozy green knit outfit on a brown wooden baby bed. The warm tones and soft fabric gave those portraits a really natural, timeless feel.
Family portraits came next. Beckham snuggled into his parents’ arms while Finnegan stood right beside them looking like the proudest big brother in Hamilton County. He was so gentle with Beckham, touching his tiny hands and just staring at him with this look of pure wonder. Those sibling moments are some of my favorites to capture and this session delivered.
For wraps we did a soft golden swaddle with delicate bows tucked into a vintage wire egg basket, followed by a baby blue wrap on a bed of soft gray fur. That final setup was calm and dreamy and some of my favorite images from his entire session.
