Meet Magnolia — Carmel Newborn Photography
All the blooming trees every spring send me straight back to this session. Magnolia is a name that fits a season perfectly, and her newborn portrait session at my Carmel, Indiana studio had that same energy throughout. Soft colors, pretty florals, and a baby who made every single setup look effortless.
We started with a yellow romper and matching floral headband on a vintage quilt in a tiny baby bed. From there I wrapped her in a blue floral swaddle with a matching tieback and nestled her into an antique egg basket surrounded by tiny flowers. That setup looked like spring itself.
Next we swaddled her in pink and yellow and laid her on a soft bed of pink fur. Her dark hair against those warm tones was a really beautiful combination. We finished her session with portraits of Magnolia with her mom and dad, who were completely smitten from the moment they walked in. You could see it all over their faces.
Thank you to Magnolia’s family for bringing her in. She is as beautiful as her name.
