Meet Haven — Carmel Newborn Photography
Soft textures, delicate florals, and warm tones throughout. Haven’s newborn portrait session at my Carmel, Indiana studio had a beautiful, collected feel from the very first setup to the last. She was an absolute dream to work with and made every single look shine.
We started with just a delicate floral halo on a tiny wicker baby bed. No fuss, nothing to distract — just Haven and her tiny features front and center. From there she changed into a soft blue romper in a small woven basket, and her dad joined in for a few portraits. Those daddy and daughter shots are some of the most meaningful images from her entire session.
For a more bohemian feel I wrapped her in pink and placed her in a tiny macrame baby bed with another floral halo. The neutral textures of the macrame against the soft pink wrap gave those portraits a really beautiful, artistic quality. We finished with a bright yellow romper and matching floral halo in a basket. That cheerful color was a perfect way to close out the morning.
