Welcome to the world sweet baby Ellis, who visited my Carmel portrait studio recently with his sweet family for a newborn photoshoot. With his parents being devoted University of Kentucky fans, we had the exciting opportunity to incorporate their passion into his first-ever photoshoot. The result? A collection of heartwarming images that celebrate this little Wildcat’s arrival.

From the moment Ellis arrived at our studio, we could feel the excitement in the air. His parents proudly dressed him in a University of Kentucky onesie, setting the stage for a truly special photoshoot. To add an extra touch of authenticity, we even gave little Ellis a tiny basketball to hold. The combination of his precious innocence and the powerful emblem of the UK Wildcats made for a delightful start to our session.

After the spirited beginning, we transitioned to a softer, more tranquil setup. Swaddled in a baby blue wrap, Ellis lay on a luxurious gray fur background. This choice not only showcased his peaceful slumber but also highlighted his delicate features. The gentle hues of blue and gray created a serene atmosphere, allowing us to capture Ellis in all his newborn purity.

Next on our journey was a cozy burnt orange wrap that enveloped Ellis. Placed in a specially crafted wooden baby bed designed for newborn photography, he looked as snug as can be. The burnt orange color, a nod to autumn and the changing seasons, added warmth to the frame. With each snap of the camera, we immortalized the adorable tranquility of this precious newborn.

As the photoshoot progressed, we decided to explore more textures and tones. Ellis was then wrapped in a deep, rich green wrap and placed in a vintage wire basket. This rustic and charming setup created a timeless contrast to the previous themes, showcasing the versatility of newborn photography. Ellis’s innocent expressions and the rustic aesthetics blended seamlessly in this captivating scene.
